Aave's Horizon Market, launched in August 2025, surpassed $50 million in deposits within days of going live—demonstrating that institutions will deploy tokenized assets as collateral when the infrastructure meets their standards. Centrifuge has quietly built the largest on-chain private credit portfolio, with $1.1 billion in active loans spanning invoices, real estate, and structured products. Their partnership with the Janus Henderson Anemoy Treasury Fund brought institutional credibility, while their infrastructure reduced securitization costs by up to 97% compared to traditional channels.

MakerDAO's evolution into Sky represents the most ambitious integration of real-world collateral into a stablecoin system. DAI is now partially backed by bonds, institutional loans, and Treasury instruments—injecting real-world yield directly into the crypto stablecoin ecosystem.
